As this winter’s sting stretches even one more week, we are reminded that it will all soon be warm and sunny as we spring ahead for Daylight Savings this weekend. Sunday may be the warmest day of the weekend and the extra hour gives us a bit more daylight to enjoy.
But don’t count out Saturday night as an opportunity to get that bike out for a short ride into downtown Lee’s Summit for the Word on Wheels 6:00 pm gathering. Even if it’s in the 40’s it will feel great to grab and roll back that throttle maybe for the first time in months. Come out and ride if you must, but come and get involved with this unique outreach ministry.
The music will be uplifting as prayers and praises are lifted up in worship. Our gatherings are growing each week as more folks see the oportunity to reach those who ride but have yet to give their life to Jesus Christ. Why not invite someone you know who needs to hear a word from God this weekend. Come and hear how God is speaking to people today.
