The Motorcycle Fellowship of Kansas City is a motorcycle outreach ministry.
The Motorcycle Fellowship has adopted a mission statement that is
‘We Ride So Others May Live’.
This is a very simple statement founded on, who we are , what we do and why we do it.
‘We Ride… motorcycles, we enjoy doing this and this is what on the surface is common to us all (we do not exclude those who don’t ride but this is our targeted group). Activities of this group will be centered around motorcycling.
…So Others… who ride motorcycles, whom we meet and start up conversations with, become friends with and share our faith with, will come and join us. The ‘Others’ also represents those whom we will minister to in a physical way through our various missions projects. Our major mission project will be to organize and present the Ride for Rachel House motorcycle benefit ride in June.
…May Live’ a life knowing Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. As God has drawn each of us into a personal relationship with Him, he uses us to reach out to others who are lost and dying. We also reach out to those who are hurting, desperate, pregnant and unborn through our support of the Rachel House Ministries.
God has plans that are not our own. Isaiah 55:8 says “My thoughts are not your thoughts neither are your ways my ways.”
What God wants to do with this motorcycle group:
It is not just to ride and eat together.
It is not just to make new friends.
It is not just to pray, praise and worship together.
It is not just to bring more people into a saving relationship with Christ.
It is not just about the missions work He has given us to do.
It is all these things and more, more than we can even imagine.
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, Ephesians 3:20 NIV
This is an invitation for you to come and join in on the work that God is doing through this small group.
We meet at 2 NE Douglas St., Lee’s Summit (small annex building in rear parking lot of First Baptist Church) on the 2nd and 4th Saturday’s of each month at 6:00pm.
